Cette exp\u00e9rience m&#039;a permis d&#039;approfondir ma compr\u00e9hension des complexit\u00e9s cliniques, des m\u00e9canismes immunologiques et des strat\u00e9gies de prise en charge \u00e0 long terme propres \u00e0 cette population de patients diversifi\u00e9e. Gr\u00e2ce au mentorat et aux conseils de tous les membres de l&#039;Unit\u00e9 du foie de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de l&#039;Alberta, j&#039;ai acquis les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour prodiguer des soins nuanc\u00e9s et fond\u00e9s sur des donn\u00e9es probantes, et pour contribuer de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 de nos patients et \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9volution de l&#039;h\u00e9patologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;un des aspects les plus marquants de ma formation a \u00e9t\u00e9 la possibilit\u00e9 de contribuer \u00e0 la prise en charge des patients atteints de maladies h\u00e9patiques auto-immunes. Travailler avec des mentors aussi exceptionnels que les Drs Andrew Mason et Aldo Montano-Loza a transform\u00e9 ma compr\u00e9hension des maladies h\u00e9patiques auto-immunes et des d\u00e9fis auxquels ces patients sont confront\u00e9s. Cet int\u00e9r\u00eat m&#039;a incit\u00e9 \u00e0 poursuivre ma formation dans ce domaine et je suis ravi de continuer \u00e0 approfondir mes connaissances et mes comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que je m&#039;oriente vers une carri\u00e8re en h\u00e9patologie, je compte consolider ces acquis. Je compte int\u00e9grer la recherche, la formation et les soins cliniques \u00e0 ma pratique quotidienne. Je souhaite particuli\u00e8rement participer \u00e0 des recherches visant \u00e0 faire progresser la prise en charge de la CBP, un domaine qui s&#039;est consid\u00e9rablement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 au cours de mon fellowship. En combinant ma formation clinique \u00e0 des recherches universitaires continues, j&#039;aspire \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner la recherche, les politiques et les pratiques qui garantissent aux patients atteints de maladies du foie des soins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s et empathiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, mon exp\u00e9rience de fellowship a \u00e9t\u00e9 une ann\u00e9e extraordinaire de croissance personnelle et de d\u00e9couvertes, m&#039;apportant une expertise clinique, une curiosit\u00e9 acad\u00e9mique et une perspective humaniste sur les soins du foie au Canada et ailleurs.
