Mon ann\u00e9e au KCH a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 mes attentes, offrant une combinaison dynamique de possibilit\u00e9s cliniques, de recherche et de formation. Je suis reconnaissant d&#039;avoir pu \u00eatre boursier CASL-CLF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exp\u00e9riences cliniques<\/strong><br>Mon objectif en int\u00e9grant le KCH \u00e9tait d&#039;acqu\u00e9rir une exp\u00e9rience clinique. Cet objectif a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint de la mani\u00e8re suivante\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&#039;ai agi comme consultant en h\u00e9patologie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale pendant une semaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je dirige les visites du service de transplantation avec le soutien d&#039;un consultant lors des r\u00e9unions de transfert quotidiennes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participer aux \u00e9valuations de transplantation, y compris la pr\u00e9sentation et la d\u00e9fense des patients lors des r\u00e9unions d&#039;inscription aux listes de transplantation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que je ne sois pas inclus dans le planning \u00e9tabli, j&#039;ai recherch\u00e9 des opportunit\u00e9s en clinique. J&#039;ai travaill\u00e9 dans diverses cliniques sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es, ce qui m&#039;a permis d&#039;explorer un large \u00e9ventail de sous-sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s en h\u00e9patologie, notamment\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maladie auto-immune du foie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gestion des listes d&#039;attente pour les transplantations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soins post-transplantation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M\u00e9decine obst\u00e9tricale du foie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H\u00e9patite virale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition des jeunes adultes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carcinome h\u00e9patocellulaire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maladie du foie li\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#039;alcool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces exp\u00e9riences ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 renforcer mon expertise clinique et \u00e0 me pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 g\u00e9rer des cas complexes d\u2019h\u00e9patologie et de transplantation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contributions \u00e0 la recherche<\/strong><br>Bien que l&#039;exposition clinique f\u00fbt mon objectif principal, je me suis \u00e9galement investi dans la recherche. J&#039;ai co-\u00e9crit une revue de la litt\u00e9rature sur les traitements de l&#039;h\u00e9patite auto-immune et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 une revue de la litt\u00e9rature sur la CSP, actuellement en cours. J&#039;ai co-\u00e9crit six r\u00e9sum\u00e9s soumis \u00e0 l&#039;EASL, abordant divers sujets importants\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Traitement de troisi\u00e8me intention dans l&#039;h\u00e9patite auto-immune.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>R\u00e9sultats post-transplantation dans la CSP et les MII.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fragilit\u00e9 dans la maladie st\u00e9atosique du foie sur la liste d&#039;attente de transplantation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L&#039;ammoniac comme outil pronostique dans les maladies du foie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Outre ces r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, ces opportunit\u00e9s de recherche ont approfondi mon expertise acad\u00e9mique et m&#039;ont permis de collaborer avec des leaders en h\u00e9patologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contributions \u00e9ducatives<\/strong><br>L&#039;\u00e9ducation a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de mon programme de bourse. Parmi les points forts, on peut citer\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enseigner aux pharmaciens du foie le d\u00e9ficit en MDR3, combler le foss\u00e9 entre la pharmacologie et l&#039;h\u00e9patologie clinique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pr\u00e9sentation de trois s\u00e9ries de M&amp;M, dont un cas particuli\u00e8rement difficile impliquant un d\u00e9c\u00e8s post-partum, qui a soulign\u00e9 l&#039;importance de la r\u00e9flexion et de l&#039;apprentissage multidisciplinaire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Regard vers l&#039;avenir<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mon exp\u00e9rience en tant que boursier CASL-CLF au KCH a \u00e9t\u00e9 transformatrice. De la consultation \u00e0 la gestion de cas de transplantation et \u00e0 la contribution aux avanc\u00e9es universitaires, cette ann\u00e9e m&#039;a permis d&#039;acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences, les connaissances et la confiance n\u00e9cessaires pour exceller en tant qu&#039;h\u00e9patologue. J&#039;ai h\u00e2te de rapporter ces exp\u00e9riences au Canada et de contribuer significativement \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 h\u00e9patologique.
