Mariam, \u00e9tudiante au doctorat en \u00e9pid\u00e9miologie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill, a re\u00e7u le prix du nouveau chercheur de l\u2019Association canadienne de recherche sur le VIH (ACRV) pour sa pr\u00e9sentation orale exceptionnelle en \u00e9pid\u00e9miologie et sciences de la sant\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les recherches de Mariam portent sur l&#039;h\u00e9patite C (VHC) et visent \u00e0 \u00e9clairer les interventions visant \u00e0 \u00e9liminer le VHC au Canada. Son travail est essentiel pour identifier les personnes qui ne re\u00e7oivent pas les soins n\u00e9cessaires tout au long de la cascade de soins du VHC, mettant ainsi en \u00e9vidence les d\u00e9faillances syst\u00e9miques. Son travail est essentiel pour identifier les personnes qui ne re\u00e7oivent pas les soins n\u00e9cessaires tout au long de la cascade de soins du VHC, mettant ainsi en \u00e9vidence les d\u00e9faillances syst\u00e9miques. De plus, elle examine les effets en aval de l&#039;engagement dans les soins du VHC sur les r\u00e9sultats de sant\u00e9 au-del\u00e0 du VHC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le titre de son r\u00e9sum\u00e9 prim\u00e9 est \u00ab Facteurs associ\u00e9s au fait de ne pas recevoir de soins optimaux (NROC) pour l\u2019h\u00e9patite C (VHC) dans la cohorte canadienne de co-infection (CCC) \u00bb. Cette recherche est supervis\u00e9e par la Dre Marina Klein et Dimitra Panagiotoglou, Ph. D., \u00e0 l\u2019Institut de recherche du Centre universitaire de sant\u00e9 McGill (IR-CUSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9vouement et le travail acharn\u00e9 de Mariam ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnus \u00e0 la suite de sa pr\u00e9sentation orale \u00e0 l&#039;atelier international sur les bases de donn\u00e9es d&#039;observation du VIH et de l&#039;h\u00e9patite \u00e0 Villamoura, au Portugal, en mars 2024.
