The Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL) has published new clinical practice guidance for the assessment and management of metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
Developed by a multidisciplinary national steering committee, the guidance provides practical, evidence-informed recommendations for identifying at-risk populations, screening and risk stratification, and managing MASLD across Canadian healthcare settings.
